DeWitt Chiropractor: Dr. Jacob Cram

Helping people get the most out of life – one adjustment at a time!

Dr. Cram, his wife, Alyssa, and their son, Lucas

Hi, I’m Dr. Jacob Cram and I’ve been part of the Hill Chiropractic team since 2014. Originally from Marion, IA I graduated from Marion High School. I continued my education at Mount Mercy University where I studied Biology and also played on the men’s basketball team. During my studies at Mount Mercy, I was amazed at the powerful, innate ability of living things (including us) to heal themselves. Without knowing it at the time I was learning first hand exactly what chiropractic is all about. One day, knowing that I wanted to be in healthcare and help people get well, it dawned on me that chiropractic might be the way to go. The more I learned the more it became clear that chiropractic was exactly what I wanted to do.

My Chiropractic Education

After graduating with my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Mount Mercy, I moved to Davenport, IA to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic. Upon receiving my degree I was recognized as Class Salutatorian, received the Academic Excellence Award, and was a finalist for the Clinical Excellence Award. While studying at Palmer, I became particularly interested in the Gonstead Technique, one of the most specific systems of spinal analysis and hands on adjusting designed to get the best results. I have attended numerous post graduate seminars to expand my knowledge of the Gonstead Technique and it’s application to the human body. I enjoy seeing patients of all ages, from farmers to athletes to teachers, and love sharing how chiropractic care can help people reach their full potential.
